DHI’s Coastal and Marine Water Forecasting System is a tailor made and
operational forecast service providing hydrographic, environmental and
meteorological information for several locations worldwide.
Operators, decision makers, planners, emergency managers, industry etc need
key information to support planning, design and operations. These groups
have different and varying needs for met-ocean data and information for
marine and coastal areas. The information available include for example
time series and maps presenting hindcast and forecast of currents, sea
surface heights, wave climate, temperature, salinity levels,
stratification, etc. This information is provided as a dedicated,
online and interactive forecast report, (analogue to a weather forecast
report).
Based on accurate meteorological forecasts the Coastal and Marine Water
Forecasting System provide online hydrographic and environmental forecasts
