Oct 12, 2005 Local Area Weather Radar (LAWR)

DHI installed a Local Area Weather Radar (LAWR) for high resolution rainfall monitoring and forecast over Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This radar rainfall installation is the first in SE Asia and the second in a tropical rainfall region. DHI's radar rainfall monitoring and forecast technology can be integrated into a flood forecasting and early warning system.
