DHI is able to carry out both offshore and nearshore sand source investigations, with targetting based on physical, morphological and biological indicators. Surveys of potential sites include echo-sounder interpretation, grab sampling, underwater visual and photographic survey and shallow coring. Once a suitable site is identified, DHI is able to process an EIA through to and including the implementation of the environmental management plan for the operation.
