Over the past few decades, environmental sensors have improved dramatically and today’s data acquisition systems have capacities that can match the refined data flow from the sensors.

DHI has contributed extensively to this development, thereby improving not only the method of data collection itself, but also the integrated use of monitoring data, modelling and laboratory analyses.  A large number of instruments, sensors, data transmission and data presentation systems for online measurements of met-ocean data have been developed and applied by DHI.
